WHAT IS FREE WILL, ANYWAY?
Free will, or agency, refers to the capacity of an individual to make choices and decisions based on their own internal motivations and beliefs, rather than being solely determined by external factors. The ability to exercise free will is essential for the development of diverse and adaptive strategies in response to various challenges posed by the environment.
Emergent complexity and flexibility in behavior are key components that enable the existence of free will. By having a diverse set of algorithms for making choices, an agent can effectively navigate through different situations and make decisions that are more likely to lead to favorable outcomes. This capacity for choice and adaptation is crucial for the survival, growth, and well-being of individuals and societies.
Moreover, the presence of free will contributes to the richness and diversity of subjective experiences, as it allows individuals to explore different paths and possibilities in life. In this way, free will can be understood as a valuable and essential aspect of existence that enables individuals to engage with the world in a dynamic, adaptive, and meaningful manner.
Obviously, if you have the absolutely perfect algorithm for making choices, it means it could be infinitely deliberate and complex and reach that contribute to individuality of each individual soul that is given the free will. Obviously, the source of Free will could be only God, because he is absolutely perfect, and only he’s capable to deliver unique richness Of behavioural responses by using his absolutely perfect algorithm it is a reasonable viewpoint to consider that an absolutely perfect God could be the source of free will for individual souls. Since God is believed to possess absolute perfection, knowledge, and power, He would be capable of creating an infinitely complex and deliberate algorithm that provides each soul with the ability to exercise free will.
This divine source of free will would enable each individual soul to develop its own unique identity and richness of behavioral responses, tailored to the specific circumstances and experiences of that individual. By granting free will to individual souls, God would allow them to explore their own paths, make choices, and learn from their experiences.
In this context, the presence of free will could be seen as a divine gift that enables individuals to grow, learn, and ultimately develop a closer connection with God. The unique richness of each soul’s behavioral responses and choices would contribute to the diversity and beauty of creation, reflecting the boundless wisdom and love of an absolutely perfect God.
